    Fuel soaked

Filled up last night as the prises dipped below £1.30 only to find my right leg and side of the big katoom soaked in fuel!
Pulled the right tank of and found the connecter pipe between the two tanks, one of the rubber grommets has split and came out.

In the (HOW) this has been disscused, what i want to know is if anyone know the part number for this little grommet or is there a better fix?

If i got this right this was a recall hence the part not in the owners manual!

Also if the (Flapendectomy) was done can these holes be bloked off????

Oh ya its a 950 adv 2005 the black beast, just hit 50k

    Thank you

Thank you DG, thats the parts manual page, the connecter pipe over the airbox connecting the two tanks is not indicated at all! After a bit of a search, plaese tell me anyone else have this MOD?
I spoke to four reputable ktm dealers yesterday only to find none have a clue as to what im after, best of all is my bike has been looked after by only two shops the one i bought it from and my local dealer neither know if the work was done by them!!!!
AS i tried to explain a hose connecting the two tanks over the airbox under the glovebox.

No engine work (touch wood) waterpump fuel pump oil pressure switch all the usual and very regular oil change and she run like day one!!

Would someone tell me how to get photos on here please!

    Thats awesome thank you ACP
No wonder the dealers did not own up!
I might just replace the grommet as I've done 35k with those and just keep a spare.

Just another bit of Orange wisdom acquired
