Be interesting to see what Sam breaks this time, and if he finishes.

Just received this from Eurosport Player :

After verification, I inform you that the event will not be broadcasted on the Eurosport Player in United Kingdom due to the strict broadcast rights our service is subject to.

I am truly sorry that you are not able to follow this event on Eurosport Player.

Are there any other options for full race coverage ?
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill...............

No coverage is only marginally worse than the coverage they usually supply. Fucking useless cunts!

only thing I can find is this
    https://www.youtube.com/user/dakar/videos

Not sure how up to date it will be or whether it will be much cop.

You would of thought that the Dakar organisers would want more coverage than they get at moment. perhaps ITV could start as they don't do too bad a job with the Isle of Man TT.

Bit late now but reckon for next year we ought to run a sweepstake, with some proceeds going to charity.

Charity is a lovely girl and well worth every penny

Thanks Tim but I fear they will be just videos after the event - I may be wrong.

It's really frustrating as I'd like to see it, if not live, at least daily updates.

I normally subscribe to Eurosport Player just for January and although their coverage was erratic to say the least, at least it was daily coverage.

There is currently a live feed from the podium ceremony running on the Dakar Rally FB page here https://www.facebook.com/dakar

If you are prepared listen in a foreign language there are plenty of other feeds around on the interweb - take a look here for listings http://advrider.com/index.php?thread...#post-31166009

I suspect more will be added over the next few days

Red Bull TV are also running daily updates https://www.redbull.tv/live/AP-1Q1ZB...11/dakar-rally

Lyndon was on form on the start podium earlier

Puzzling - Eurosport are providing coverage in the UK via satellite services - seems odd that you can watch it via a satellite dish but not via the interweb

This must be your first time following the Dakar or you would never have asked that question.
Eurosport coverage of the Dakar for the last decade at least has been absolute rubbish. Find me one person on here that can say something positive about the way those useless cunts cover the event. All you get if you're lucky is a few moments of the top teams. basically you get nothing. Also, try tuning in at the times advertised for the coverage. Rant over.
