    Adventure seat

Looking to buy a more comfortable seat for the 1190. Anyone got a Touratech or KTM Ergo seat and if so do you recommend them?
Anyone want to sell their seat?

It's the heated version but I bought it used so didn't come with the switches and extra loom to connect it up. Looked into getting the missing bits but can't say I actually need anymore heat between my legs

They both seem to get good feedback. I think I'd go for the KTM if I was staying on road or the TT if I was intending to ride on the dirt. The split seats of the KTM will be more likely to hook onto your legs as you try to move back and forth on the dirt. The TT being smoother profile shouldn't have that problem.

Is it correct that the KTM Ergo seat is taller than the original? I know the TT one is available in low, normal and high versions.

Ergo is slightly taller but sat on the bike I can't notice it.

That 20mm could be the deal breaker - I'm already pretty much on the limit of what I feel is enough of a foothold when sitting on the bike. I don't have much leg strength due to injuries etc so ideally need a flat foot down - if it's balls of the feet I wouldn't feel confident in holding it up. And why you would want the seat to be heated is beyond me.....toasty balls come as standard anyway!
