Well is it outta the shop yet ?????
Nearly there but not finished yet - because of the delays we have had to try to fit it in amongst other pre-booked workshop jobs (and paying punters jobs take priority over the boss apparently .......).

So I've got a 2011GSX-R 600 for the weekend - it's done 6 miles so far !

A back breaking rice burner
Suzuki like it when I ride GSX-R's - they said it was good for registration figures or something

This is (was ?) our demo GSX-R 1000 from 2007 - 6 days old and 75 miles on the clock !

I walked away from it with a broken arm ..............................

OUCH - hope you are fully recovered !
Not sure...it was last July and it's been giving me some jip recently. I have much the same metal plate set up as you, but the screws poke out of the bone a bit, and I think they're rubbing on nerves/muscle, so it hurts to perform certain movements.
I think I'm going to go and get the plates removed in the near future.

No more progress on the bike - will need to kick the workshop's backside or I will be walking to the Nurburgring in April !

But I took advantage today when a customer wanted to order some Alpina tubeless wheels for his TM660 Supermoto bike (awesome piece of kit - will get some photos soon !)

Played the 'I'm one of the bosses and really like your tubeless wheel kits for the 990 Adventure' card and managed to get a nice set of these for a VERY good price

They work out quite a lot less than a replacement set of standard KTM wheels and will not rust (stainless nipples and black treated spokes)

Should be with me in a couple of weeks :)

And before anyone asks my standard wheels are not for sale - keeping them as spares for a set of off-road tyres.

Now I just need to sort out new brake discs front and rear to finish off smartening it all up :p

Owen you defo got way tooo much wonga
Suspect they will work out just a bit more than the going rate for a set of half decent used standard wheels.................................
