Yes mate I did mine last week. They just pop off. I used the rubber glove remedy. It works, but they still vibrate, but don't move. They are useless mirrors.
You're right , it seems to flatten everything out on video . We're only beginners really , 2 of us only been offroading since Christmas , but most weekends
