RFX Footpegs fitting !?!?!?

I've bought some orange ones to stick on the 530 and nipped in the garage to fit them earlier, I can't seem to get the spring back on with them, is there a trick to it ??? i.e do you compress it whilst fitting ?

PS - I've put them in the correct place bot on the handlebars or owt like that:rolleyes:

Clamp one tab of the spring to the footpeg with a pair of long nosed mole grips, using a screwdriver to line up the hole in the spring.

Then put it in place, the other tab of the frame will bend into place as you put the peg into place, push the pin through and its done.
Dead easy and not as dangerous as trying to compress the spring with mole grips or a cable tie.
