    Ty-Rhiw farm South Wales

Just found out that theres a local farm to me (South Wales) called Ty-Rhiw Farm that supports various types of off-roading, 4x4, enduroing, mx, trials etc.....

    Anyone been there?

I may pay it a visit and see what its all about...

    Its around Taffs Well area.

You get to it by going up Graigwen hill (pontypridd area).

if you did that you would end up nowhere near taffs well.the farm in question does indeed let trials bikes and 4+4's have the run of the place.off-road bikes were welcome too until the noisy pipe brigade ruined it.fucking noisy wobblers are always fucking things up.

back on topic,if you want to get there taffs well is easily accessed from the A470 and ty-rhiw is signposted just off the roundabout.keep driving around the estate then bear right before the cemetry and follow the road to the farm.i think tilts may have been there already

speaking to a lad earlier who rides up there with his dad, and he takes the last left turning on Graigwen hill (just before you get to the cattle grid and enter LLanwyno), then just heads across some fields and gets to where its happening (apparently), Ill get directions before I head out lol...

I spoke to the land owner earlier and they said the police do thier off-road training up there in the 4x4s.

Sounded good when I was speaking to the lad earlier, he said there was some mx tracks, plus it was a place I hadnt been before.. doesnt sound too appealing now
    lol..

@ tilts, no Im not road legal on the KTM

No thats the mx track in Ynysybwl, ride there regular, thats the closest track to me...

Its ok there, ground is very rocky now though as its been used for years with racing and practising etc.....

Hes doing a good job up there, and is always busy up there. Open every sat and sunday and wednesdays in the summer
. £20 to ride all day.
