    SAS removal help

well , took off all the sas crap and installed the plates , my question is what do you do with the vacuum hose from rear cyl ?and also the wires to the EPC after disconnecting should I just tape them up or do you need to jump/connect them or what ?
    thanks for any help

If your on about this hose it needs plugging or put some bathroom sealant in.

You also need to cut off the wire that I have removed from this pic and solder a resistor on to it otherwise your FI light will flash

Once resistor placed on wrap up with heat shrink of electrical tape and plug back in:

You don't need the resistor if it's a 950. I have a 950 and have left the plugs 'hanging' I need to get some heat shrink to seal it off.
I had a rubber hose plug to plug the take off, off the air box. Or like superdan says, mastic a bolt into the hole

Re. the vacuum hose from rear cyl. I found a bolt that fitted the hose and plugged with that. zip tying it up

do you mean the smaller hose for setting the carbs up? I did my 950 ages ago and seem to remember the smaller carb vaccum pipes I just blocked with a plastic bolt and sealant after moving them and left them readily accessible for later carb balancing, if need be. the rest of the vaccum pipes (the larger ones) were cut down and sealed up with gutter sealant to prevent air being drawn into carbs. any wiring was just cable tied away tidy and the sas plates were cut from aluminium sheet and given a gasket of sealant before getting bolted up. all the 'plumbing' was removed. I found the info on both the 'hall of wisdom' and another site - forget the name - and I dont have the info anymore. sorry............ try a google if you are still unsure, but i hope what i have said makes sense. this work i did together with putting on ackro's and a rejet and filter from x-bikes. snorkel and side doors to air box was also removed.
