Are you having a furkin geeraffe!

This country is toss! Review the websites of any of the daily rags in this country and despair!
Send your missus back for a month and she'll realise what an utter buffoon she is being. If she doesn't change her mind get her seen by a psychiatrist, get power of attorney and don't let her leave! lol
If she does still want to come back, brainwash the little uns that they want to stay with their Dad!

Seriously, she must be absolutely bloody potty to want to come back!
Is it just me or is riding a bike as good as watching hot girls kiss?!?!?

I concur, this place is truly pish..wait till George Osborne puts the VAT up to 20/25% then we will all be riding about in clapped out old bikes.

Get to S.W Scotland.Lots of space, great scenery,Galloway forest park...lots of offroading till your hearts content, cheap house prices and a good piece of land with it.

However,if you wish you can come take my place ad i`ll give you the keys for a 690R and an old Bonnie and i`l take the flight to Oz.

Head North to Scotland - the country badly needs an influx of people with functioning brains, creative minds and a get-up-and-go attitude.

There are a number of beautiful islands that would welcome your talents and a fresh injection of your DNA into the local gene pool.

Miles of wilderness to ride about in, some fantastic schools and some hospitals that are modelled on the Zimbabwe approach to healthcare.

p.s. Most clever Scots have already departed their homeland for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, London or anywhere they can earn a reasonable reward for their efforts.

You really need to get out more! Warrington is a monument to dull mediocrity - I worked there for a few days before moving onto the cosmopolitan highlights of Runcorn and then the cornucopia of orgasmic delights that forms Ellesmere Port. If chemical processing, toxic gases and carcinogenic compounds excite you then head off down that way.

In engineering terms the Anderton Boat Lift is worth is worth a detour and proper Cheshire cheese is worth sourcing.

Well I 've worked in about 30 countries...overall this country ain't a bad place to be. seriously. the grass is always greener, and not for a sec am I saying this place is perfect, far from it. But if you have the money and budget to live where you want in the UK, there are some fantastic places, some fantastic scenery and some fantastic people.

I was born and raised on the Worcester/Hereford border and although i have spent 23 of the last 25 years in Norfolk i would thoroughly recommend the area, especially Herefordshire.
Herefordshire is that little bit more laid back, slower, rural etc.Its closer to Wales if thats your thing but with plenty of great riding of its own.
Im not a city man but Hereford seems pleasant enough.
Hope it all goes well for you, keep us posted

You are quite right Resti, I was taking the pish ! Runcorn, Widnes, Ellesmere Port etc. are shitholes. I was actually at the Anderton boat lift yesterday after having a blast out towards that way, really nice around there. Warrington is okay, got some nice parts, can't think of any right now, but if I do I I'll let yer know . . .
