I do have an instructor and can ride perfectly fine.
Just making sure I look right way on lifesavers and stuff.
Just that when I ride I don't do lifesavers I just use my mirrors as I'm usually the one overtaking lol.

when pulling away you obviously look over the shoulder where the traffic is coming from... otherwise you will be looking at a path or a bush fuck me... Have a quick glance maybe the other way depending on the situation you're in

You can ride perfectly fine, but you don't know what way to look when you do a lifesaver? It's not just about riding, it's all the other stuff that makes you safe that you need to appreciate and take notice of.

Don't trust mirrors - blind spots and all that, that's why you do lifesavers - do you have mirrors on the husky?

Hope you don't die doing this test

    Nope no mirrors on husky.
iv had more near accidents on this test than the year I rode on the road legally.
All this looking back is a loada bollox. If I look bac I'm more likely to swerve into oncoming traffic.
They go on like on a bike ur invisible. Have u heard my bike I'm the loudest thing on the road so everyone knows where I am. That's how I have always thought of it. Loud pipe is a safe option in my opinion that way people hear you coming

No I don't know everything even if it did sound that way. It's just my current opinion . Maybe it will change in tome but I'll always have a loud pipe

Right! And yes, I use the life saver all the time, just habit now. I ditched my mirrors long ago, I find looking over my shoulder much quicker and I get a more comprehensive view.....and mirrors look poo

Do you really think that life savers are a waste of time ? if so then best of luck with your future , loud pipes dont save lives they just annoy people also the police trap thats hiding half a mile up the road can hear you coming , im sure the local chav in his nova with his 5000 watt stereo blasting wont hear your loud pipe while he is ploughing into you because you didnt bother looking to see it was clear .

When people tell you bikes are invisible they aint joking , in over 20 years of riding ive had cars vans wagons and pedestrians just pull / walk out in front of me as if im not there , the old sorry i didnt see you phrase springs to mind , ride your bike like everyone out there is trying to kill you and you should be fine .....

Good luck with the test .

Guess that's why it is called a "lifesaver" and not a "wasteoftimer"
