Anyone have a suggestion on what would be an effective psi for 120/80-19 Michelin S12 XC Cross Comp?.
Thanks for any replies in advance. (I apologise if this is a slight tangent to the topic).

8+ psi in an S12 with tube. It's a mega stiff tyre but if you find it too soft at 8 psi try 10-12. It'll be fine in mud/grass but hideous on log, rock and roots at 12 psi.

Dunlop MX3S is the tyre tqktm is on about. It's a beast.

FIM races there is only one choice for me and that's the comp3 with Tubliss, anything where tyres don't matter the 52 is ace for mixed conditions, mx3s or starcross5 soft when wet. Bear in mind that the starcross and mx3s like a bit of air in with Tubliss - they won't run flat nicely like the 51 did - not dodgy but you lose some accuracy.

On the subject of tyres, any recommendations for fitment to a 690 to do a 2 week tour of Iceland on later this year?
Currently running Dunlop 908RR 140/80-18 Rear and Pirelli MT21 Rallycross 90/90-21 Front (both with Tubliss)

Smiler- 110/90. Doesn't look any different to a 140. MX boys use sizes as weird as their caps.

Reaper- why not mt21 rear or Michelin desert rear? Mike54 might be more clued up on suitable tyres for a 690?
