FIM races there is only one choice for me and that's the comp3 with Tubliss, anything where tyres don't matter the 52 is ace for mixed conditions, mx3s or starcross5 soft when wet. Bear in mind that the starcross and mx3s like a bit of air in with Tubliss - they won't run flat nicely like the 51 did - not dodgy but you lose some accuracy.
    Comp 3 front and back?

    what sizes Pindie

Comp 6 front it's bloody great with tubliss, never had any punctures or badness on that. 140 /80/18 comp 3 rear but it does need a bit of air other wise it's squashy I actual prefer the 120 rear to the 140 but with more air in 140 is fine. That is correct sizes as well .....this time lol

I'm fairly new to enduro but been running a pair of Starcross5 mediums after my 6day metzlers expired on my 250exc. I'm running tubes & coming from MX i just set them at 12/13psi so need to play around with pressures on the greasy rocks / roots! Rear seems really good on lots of different terrain, front is fine on dirt but not so great on rocks & roots. You can feel a noticeably harder compound rubber when you dig your thumbnail into it compared with the 6day tire so I imagine this has allot to do with it. Going to try dropping front to 8psi this weekend and try it on some snotty roots.

For future I think i'll stick with Metz 6d fronts (would like to try Comp6 front) and switch between Comp3 rears for FIM and Starcross / Geomax rears for MX & H&H's.
