No Jock at Welsh 2 day this year

I had a phone call from jock who does the refuelling at the W2D ( I actully missed it but he left a message) saying he is no longer doing it, Sounds like it is a load of hassle with regulations etc, he said thanks for the custom over the years and he will be there to watch.

Assuming I get an entry this year what other options are there?

Dumping you fuel off somewhere each evening or finding another team/crew who would fuel you.

It'll be a nightmare without Jock though as he fuelled so many riders..

The organisation should sort something at the price they charge for entry. The scott trial has FIVE fuel stops included in the entry fee that's about 20% of the price of the Welsh.
    If I offend you: 1) I'm sorry. 2) It won't happen again. 3) 1 & 2 are lies. 4) You're a pussy!

If I don't get an entry I might do some fuelling help. Seems a shame not to be part of the event full stop.

I can sympathise with the riders who used Jocks service, but you must admit a LWB van loaded to the roof ( literally )with individual cans with say 10 litres each of super unleaded ? lets say its only 300 litres rattling around in the rear

Can understand why W2D committee had kittens over that ! Stops like the Scott would be , good but guess most punters would need fuel all at the same time ??

I'm truth Jonny a trials bike with its tiny fuel tank , even if it has a extra litre in a Hebo Auxiliary tank on the bars , still uses a hell of a lot less fuel than 300 + enduro bikes on a 160mile lap.

Anyway , refuelling is what every well trained wife is for aint it ??
