Fairly straightforward but you will need the special tool to unscrew the fork caps. It has the 4 pins to fit into the holes in the cap.
Once that's off, push down the spring and fit a 22mm spanner on the top of the spring guide and unscrew the cap with a 24 mm spanner and remove the spring. Drop the oil out and work the central damper rod well to make sure you get all the old oil out. It will probably look like old pond water.
From there, head for YouTube and watch the Jeff Slavens Racing video on refilling the oil, setting the level and re-assembly. Actually, watch this first and my crap description will make more sense!
Just to note if you're a cheapskate like me you can get away without buying the fork cap tool. Just find 2 drill bits which fit snugly in the fork cap holes and use a large screwdriver / spanner as a lever to turn it!
Might not need any tool depending on year. If it doesn't have adjustable preload the fork top just comes off with a spanner or socket.
22mm is it? Or 24mm, one or other.
