I climbed all over the Shercos at the dirt bike show and came away feeling really disappointed.

The front mudguard doesn't have much support and is flimsy
The blue frame has been painted so thin that you can see the primer through it. Almost looks as if they have watered it down.
Looked a much cheaper alternative to KTM but the same price!?!

Jus spoke to dave Clarke from dcr who told me he had been on a Sherco test day about a month ago first thing he said was you need to have a go on this thing I jus bought, he had tested the new 250 2t and the new Michelin comp 6 said they were both amazing and dave has been round bikes a while and has his own super moto race team, he said the first thing he did when he got back was order a new 250 Sherco for himself and call his Michelin dealer to order some comp 6 tyres, so I'm looking forward to trying both on my next visit to him, if it rides half as good as he says I don't care what it looks like, he was in good company ex world Enduro rider phil smithson and his current team riders garry Daniels and Kieran hankin and all loved the bike and tyres

the paint on the frame is laccered, and all mud fenders are filmsy now so the mud gets flicked off when ridining, but am interest how it looks in a few months of hard riding, cannot be any worse than a ktm ! lol

I am with you on Michelin Comp 6 Ross, its a Bloody good tyre Front + Rear , Not so sure about Sherco ?? I dont doubt its a good Bike ( not rocket science to build an old school Torquey 2t though is it ?)

But Build quality and reliabilty wise Ive got into trials in the last year, whilst it looks the Trickest bike every sherco Ive seen , Clubman or Pro rider has fallen to bits ! Needed New frames, engine case , apart from all the normal consumables..

On the other hand Betas , look to have best Build Quality.. But we have just picked up a 2014 Gasser 125, as it the Best seller, has red triple clamps and a reiger shock Lol ..

Perhaps Sherco enduros built in different factory/ Country may be better than Trialers ,
Best UK Deals on the entire Michelin off road range, we supply Crescent KTM UK + REME KTM Enduro teams. Rabaconda Mousse Changer, Talon, Motorex, Acerbis, also available for next day Delivery ..

Yeh think ill be trying some comp 6 hoops, funny as you've got in I've jus got out of trials and to be honest sherco had a decent reputation but when my mate upgraded from a 2006 to a 2012 model I did think his new one looked a bit cheap and nasty, but the lad retired from riding so don't kno if it would of lasted, I always rode beta loved them jus got sick of Lampkins greed, long story, but decided to try the 2012 ossa what a fantastic bike think I had best one in the country as never had any problems with it,I still have it now, the gas gas have come a long way as they were the scoda of bikes a few years back always breaking and falling apart but are made much beter now, think the mont has the best rep for build quality and reliability but that new beta looks mint, was only thease two brands you sell on after a couple of years competitive riding, all the others were just scrap, so as for the Sherco Enduro time will tell, see what one looks like after a year of competition before we can judge it eh

Just seen on FB that a certain regular on here has tonight taken delivery of a Sherco 250. Look forward to hearing his brutally honest opinion of it!!

Is the 250 that much more manageable than the 300? Ive got a 300. Have started doing 1 hour RED events with the aim of moving onwards to enduros in the near future. Was thinking that I might be better of on a 200 hence my interest in your comments.
