    4mm Heavy duty tubes

    Hi All,
Anyone tried these heavy duty tubes? Do they make any difference to the handling of a bike?

    Thanks

Myself and quite a few others use Maxxis Extra Heavy Duty 4.5mm Thick. I have only had one punture in 97 hours use, this includes Greenlaning in Wales an tips to Toms Farm !
The Punture was a strange one , the tube split on the side where it passes over the Tyre Clamp. As for Handling etc... Made no driffrence at all , til the front Tyre was flat. Then the steering had a mind of it's own....
