    AC10s on the 450

Might be going to Wales next weekend and my V Rubbers are pretty worn, its going to be well muddy I reckon so thinking of getting a pair of AC10s on.

So what sizes? Is it 80-100 and 90-120?

(V Rubber is 140-80 and I think manual says 140 for the EXC..)

    hi newsh

I think its a 90/120 i've got on my 300 at the moment, does well, been "sharpened" with the grinder a few times now too. gonna have to change it soon mind. My mate and i both run them, His is on an exc400, been faultless really for grip and legality, i've got to turn his for him this week.

Myself and most of my motley crew run with 110/100 AC10 rears and 80/100 AC10 fronts

Comp 4 front with a decent rear for me.
AC10's are shite on wet rocks,if you lose the front downhill on wet rocks.....rather you than me.

I have had a set of AC10's on my 450
they were terrible in the wet on the road and on wet tocks as has been said before,

IMHO a MITAS CO2 on the back and a Michenin S12 on the front or Enduro Comp MS.

A 90/120 on the front and a 140/80 on the back, the MITAS last well too

Always run an AC10 120/90 rear on my 450 ( largest i think ) and a comp4/ms on the front, never got stuck in wales / yorkshire / derbyshire.

Mitas CO2 on the rear..140 so you get a wide footprint and loads of grip.

Michelin Comp 4 on the front.

The AC10's a bloody lethal and the rear are worse than a Metzeler 6 days for wearing.

    soft and sticky fronts
    ie comp 4's

something that grips and lasts on the back, and preferably cheap
    haven't found one yet

    AC 10'S last very well
but grip on the fronts is shite

It's a personal thing, but, my experience of the AC10 used on the front is that it's absolutely lethal (no grip or feedback) on hard surfaces, tarmac, concrete and rock.
The Michelin Comp 4, on the other hand was more than adequate (for me) on all surfaces
