I have always used the Dales for greenlaning in the past but have given up the ghost now due to everything closing. I presume setting off from Skipton you'll be using some of the same routes I used to (some of which have allegedly sort of reopened, but apparently not for long). We decided that even with these few routes reopening it wasn't worth a day out as any route would be seriously disjointed and involve far too much road work.
That said, the trails in the area are fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyable with a mix of terrain...plenty of mud, grassed/stony outcrops, stony trails, water crossings etc etc.
I'd love to know where you get to, let us know. Maybe there's life in the area yet
ps. NICE avatar Brompton!!!
most interested to know where you go and the roads you went on, Live in bradistan so will be up there quite a bit. Isn't there supposed to be a lot of lanes around holmfirth and holme moss?
why is it everybody i race, keeps going backwards?
