    Question removing thermostat

    was wondering if any1 had removed the thermostat from there bike and wot were the pro,s and cons if i do this , just want it right 4 sunday wiv the lads

    what bike?
    safer to leave it in, saves the bike getting too cold in the open stuff IMO and will warm up faster with it in.

    people say better flow... but you dont want too much flow as it wont stay in the radiators long enough to cool....

    i dont run one, but before you steam off on full chat make sure your bike is warmed up good and proper first just so the rads are tingling your fingers warm also dont leave it ticking over for ages as it will boil over.

    other than that you dont need unless its very very cold.
