2011 250f exc bogging out help

i was out at the weekend around the dales and north york moors my mate was on his new 250f he complained it just kept bogging out unless in 1st or 2nd i had a go and it was awful rolling in 3rd at say 20 25 mph blip the throttle and nothing but a fart from the bike quite dangerous, someone said change rear sprocket increase the number of teeth i think this could be a carb/jetting issue or not set up properly the bike is brand new..

i know alot of you guys have gone to the 250 now so any advice appreciated

It sounds like a carb/jetting thing. Try giving the carb a real good clean out as its probably been stood for a fair while with fuel in the carb if its a 2011 model. If this makes no difference give us a call and we can sort you out with alternative jet settings which will cure the bogging. :-)
