250 excr to 310 conversion -spotting a genuine rebuild
thinking of selling my 530 as too heavy for me for H&H events and wanted to go down the 250 f route (2008- 2010 prob due to funds) as lighter. so couple of answers needed pls b4 I swap.
1) is the 250 a lot lighter as can't find anyone to blag a ride off and sitting on one doesn't give you a real feal for it
and 2) worried won't have enough grunt after being used to 530. I know about the 310 conversion and seen some bikes advertised with this done but how can i check externally this isn't a 280/290 conversion or even just a sales pitch and does it make any real diff to low down grunt.
Is Vertex stamped on barrel proof?

ask for ricept of parts fitted and they should still have the 250 barrel n piston
id recomend you got a 300 2stroke nice n light loads of low down power and great on the wallet
