    What bike should I buy?

Want a ktm exc but cant decide what to buy....
What to do a bike of riding across mates fields and maybe the odd hare and hound.
Im 6'3 and 16 stone so will a 200exc be a bit underpowered?
    Or should I get a 450?

    Cheers

The 400 or 250 EXC-F would suit or the 300 EXC Are you after a 2 or 4T. Might be an idea to try before you buy. I have a 250 EXC-F for sale here on e bay. Have a look here:

If you are a beginner then don't buy a 200. I have found them to be very peak so for someone starting out its too hard.
300 2T'S have a lot of torque so feel like a 4th to ride.
250 exc-f is a nice bike and good to race but a more committed riding style is required again cos there isn't loads of torque. I just tested one with a kit fitted and while it is loads better it can still bog a little coming out of bends.
450's are very easy to ride due to them having so much grunt so you never have to worry about being in the right gear. The older Rfs engined ones have a bit more low down pull. But they are a bit heavy compared ti the bikes above.
www.redbikejohn.com check it out for ride and race reports with the CHEC, Sidcup and South Reading clubs - most with Helmet Cam laps!! Free photos from most races attended. Enduroland practice days also reported on.
