Thread: help please my boys 2009 ktm sx 50 keeps snaping clutch bolts!

hi can any one help please anyone know of this problem, my boys 2009 ktm sx 50 keeps snaping clutch bolts and im now wondering if its something im doing wrong when putting new ones in, its snapped three so far and its getting on my poor little boys nerves as it keeps messing up his days riding!!! PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP OR ADVISE PLEASE MANY THANKS!!!!!!

Are you using the correct bolts?

Are you tightening them to the correct torque and locking with loctite if required?

If the part that the screw hols on loose on the other part, allowing it to slap into the bolt?

Is the bolt hole too large?

How or when is this happening ?
Is it happening when being used or when bolting the clutch together ?
There high tensile bolts so to snap one or more when bolting together seems very unlikely to me as i'm always changing them with no problems yet but a freind did have one go the other day but we just changed it and no problems since.

Tell us a bit more and exactly how are you changeing or breaking them .
