    ok so ive drilled ou tthe rivets, now how hard should i be hitting this thing and where should i be hitting it? will it benefit from using a heat gun to warm up the outside?

    so i got it all sorted, just got to rivet it back together. heres a pic of whats left of the original wadding, cant tell if there was meant to be more in there or not? can it really have all disintegrated?

    wow, thats gone quick..!! definately in need of a repack, I used the Acoustafil stuff in my RSV Twin last year, I really rate it...made a lovely deep smooth sound compared to the standard packing...According to Gez from Jester, he uses E-Glass fibre matting, which will blow through the perf over time...the Acoustifil is fully stranded over its entire length, so less likely to blow out...
