    Jester 68 repacking

so ive done 6k miles on my RC8 with the jester pipe, alternating between baffled and non baffled. its getting noticeably louder over time, ive come to understand that it probably needs repacking?

no idea what/how to do it, i assume its drilling the rivets out to repack it and the re-rivet it back together. anyone done a jester exhaust before? any tips or links to what ill need?

    TIA

I basicly stuffed it up completly, and closed the endpipe again with some rivets, needed to drill here and there because its a tight fit from genuine
It's a bit more silent know. Did some 20000km's with original pack

awesome cheers, i got an email from Gez as to the list of parts needed.

ive ordered 500wX1000L acoustafil two rolls of the stuff. ive got aluminium rivets, mostly because i dont have a pneumatic rivet gun but im sure itll be fine ill just keep an eye on them.

as for doing it, your pictures arent loading unfortunatley. but my main question is, can i just drill out the exhaust tip end and repack it from there? or do i need to take both ends off?

cheers mate, so just to confirm the whole process is

    1. drill out exhaust tip rivets
    2. remove tip and perf tube out of the shell of exhaust.
    3.replace wadding
    4. re insert into shell and rivet it back together.

*using some silicone sealant on the ends to make gas tight as reccomended by Gez

It's a tight fit, I don't did that silicone part. It's a bit more silent nowadays, so it was worth to open it up
