Thread: Duke 3 loan

Just dropped my 990 ADV off at robinsons rochdale for sirst service , and they kindly loaned me an 08 Duke 3 for the day . What a fun bike its like riding a bmx with a turbo charger lol .

Great handling , good fun , lots of admiring looks but fk me coming down the M60 at 90 i thought i was gonna get blown off it and it reminded me how great the adv is .

If i wanted a bike for around town etc it would be great but for distances Naaah

Exactly the same situation as you !!1 My 990 ADV was being serviced and I got a D3 for the day What a good bike it would be if you lived in a city where the sun shines all the time - it would be a blast !!

You should have seen the shit that covered my back when I returned to the dealer to pick up my bike again.

Nice bike - but don't ride one on a wet day in the countryside - there was more shite on the back of my jacket / helmet / neck than the farmers had put on the roads !!!!!
