    Advice Needed

Hi guys and gals, im new to this site and just need a bit of advice on a few things. I currently have a Suzuki GSXR 1000 K2 good condition, 17K miles and looking to part ex + pay cash on top for a KTM 625 SMC 2007 twin pipe model. Couple of problems, when searching on the web any 2007 smc in a dealers is miles away from Norfolk where I live and about £1500 more expensive than the ones on ebay or MCN etc. I can't seem to locate one which someone would be willing to do a px deal on. Secondly I have looked into this and I think the SMC sounds a good fun supermoto to go for. Basically I want a bike to have more fun on and something easy to wheelie. The only thing im worried about is seat height, im around 5ft 6-7 and weigh about 12 stone. Would I be able to ride one of these as I know the suspension will go down a bit with the body weight etc if not is there some way of sorting the suspension to accomodate a short dude like myself.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers Hallsy

you will be fine on it mate and if you do find it a bit of a stretch you can get the suspension sorted quite cheaply. if you cant px your bike put it up for sale on ebay, bit obvious i know but if its cheap it will sell...out of curiosity...how much is it?

didn't even hang around long enough to get a round in
i'll have a snakebite with you chris
get rid of the sports bike and join the fun, seat hight is no problem, as chris said it can be lowered, or learn to hang off one side of the bike when you stop, or wear high heels on one foot
see there are ways around being a short arse

about the short thing and heels, i didn't mean anything by it ok
its just sometimes my reality slips out....

Go on do it i am 5`6 and have a 640 sm and yes its tall but i only ever put 1 foot down (on any bike) and the more you ride it the better you`ll find the seat height.

Thanks for the responses guys, I will be putting the Gixxer on ebay at some stage this weekend and then looking round for a 625 smc. As soon as I get one will let you guys know. If in the meantime anyone spots a 2007 model in a dealers or knows of one for sale with someone willing to PX let us know. Im looking for around £2500 for the gixxer. Cheers Hallsy
