jon; i had michelin ac10s on my 200 and they lasted ok on the road, but if you are only gonna be riding it on the road there's no point - if you go greenlaning the they will be good. some people fit a trials tyre to the rear
on the lc4 front, i have just had fitted some metzeler rennsports, but have yet to use them yet, so not much goodalthough i did have some maxxis do it all inters on my old bike and they seemed pretty good

headster likes the maxxis, alot of peeps dont, ive never tried them so cant comment..
DCR SUPERMOTO TEAM...

HUSQVARNA SM510R - the beast!
KTM Lc4 640 SM gone but not forgotten...
#191 Scottish Supermoto
Maxxis Goldpeeds on my 640 (silver - street compound)
Excellent grip, especially in the wet.
However, on LC4's they do waggle like fook at highspeed.
(its dependant on height/weight)
As I didnt buy the 640 for highspeed (luckily) I'm
happy to trade off against dependable grip.
Other people prefer an Avon wet on the front,
whatever you like on the back.

**Recommended German Biker Hotel - KTM's ESPECIALLY welcomed! **
You must be a sadist (who hates engines with a vengeance) - starting a bike up to ride it 1 mile down the road - it will never heat up properly to normal working temp (oil or coolant) and suffer from premature wear - running on choke - contaminating the oil etc etc.
Try walking and save the bike for proper adventures and entertainment on trips to the land of fun.
Maxxis Dualmaxx 110/100-18 on the rear
Maxxis Dualmaxx 80/100-21 on the front.
Road legal enduro knobbly tyres, last pretty well and grip alright for the road. Had up to 90mph (clocked by my brother on a fazer) and no weave or wobble problems.
Yea.. I know.. surprisingly I'm accurate and informative when talking about DT's![]()
PS: Leave the DT at home, Restitution is right. Short stop start journeys you're gonna foul your plug alot if it's not getting a proper run. Best keep a lighter on you and a spanner.. lol
