    KTM LC4 SM tank range

    Hi all,

What is the best tank range for the standard 640 LC4 (13 litre?) tank and the best for the SMC (9 litre?) tank.

Is it worth putting a smaller tank on, or would the reduction in range make it a hinderence to good rideouts?

    Thanks.

I had an FMX that I had to strangle to enjoy and needed to see the garage sign every 60miles. The Duke reserve doesn't come on 'til 100 to 120 depending on how hard the sesh is and there's still 2 litres left.........120 - 140 maybe. Tis good.
If its windy I'm on the water. I used to pray for wind - until I got a Duke

IS this a duke 2 your talking about - the reserve doesnt come on till 100-120 miles

Mine consistantly came on at 70-80 and i felt VERY lucky once when i got causght out and got 110 miles out of a tank 120-140 is very optimistc IMO

Of course it depends how/where you ride but even still i wouldnt think it would be phsically possible to get 140 out of a LC4 tank
