Nice - I like the option of 3 positions from the one screen. Be nice to find one like that for the SMT.
    KTM 990 SMT '09 - road | KTM 525 EXC '04 - dirt | Suzuki GSXR750 K1 - track. In progress.
Now I just need a bigger shed. Probably a new forum name too... s1v2i4rider?

Have you ridden one with a screen at all?

I had the taller Pretender screen on for a while last winter and it does help a bit but I couldn't stand the screen shake. At 6'3 I was still getting wind buffet on my head so it wasn't all good.

I know there is the cable tie method to fix the shaking and I was also looking at making up some slim stainless steel bracing brackets as an alternative but I decided that I couldn't really be bothered.

We have so many unmarked police cars (and a VFR) round here (I got stopped for overtaking one in the car in a 50 limit a few months ago but just got a polite talking to) that anything over 80 is a risky business anyway.

Hardly any dual carriageways here either and I hate motorways on bikes so no great potential / interest for me to go blatting off like a nutter + I couldn't afford to lose my licence and I'm getting a bit old for all speed stuff that now.

PS None of the screens exactly enhance the looks of the SM anyway.

Still feel the need but older and slightly wiser (maybe) and self preservation come into it now.

I think I'm trying to feel in my mid 30's but my aching back, knackered knees and lack of stamina tell me otherwise .
