    As above, that is normal, let it warm up a bit first, ie, start it, put lid on, put gloves on drive off and keep the revs down for the first few miles.

    normal, don't blip it until it's warm, you have to be smooth while they are warming up

    By the way -----

    Even when warm and the idle set correctly.....most carbs will have the 'dredded' off-idle bog. This is what the accelerator pump is for --- and the bog won't go away until you have the jetting and accelerator pump set correctly.

    Installing the James Dean (JD Jet Kit) Jet Kit made a HUGE difference with this. (this kit comes with a small o-ring that goes around the accelerator pump linkage --- thus reducing some of this off-idle bog) I also just went the extra mile and installed a R&D Power PUMP - on the fly adjustable accelerator pump......


    BTW--- I have the 625 SMC w/ the Keihin FCR-MX 41 carb.
