Do I need to add a link on chain??

I've got a road 990 SMR, love it to bits but I'm thinking of swapping the aerr std 41 tooth sprocket for a Supersprox or similar and going to 42 teeth, has anyone done this and would I need to add another link to the chain in order to do so? I think there is enough play in the chain to add 1 tooth but thought I'd ask first! Cheers

Unlikely for 1 tooth. 2-3 then maybe yes... 1 and you'll be fine mate.

It should fit….but If it’s a bit tight you can turn your Axel spacing blocks around (they are designed for this as they are not concentric)
I have seen the distant light...........and its........... Orange

1 down on the front is equivelent to 2+ on the rear

I was going to do that but it's like going up 2.5 on the rear plus I like the look of the Supersprox, cheaper option though I guess, have you done this?

Much easier to change the front IMO. 1 tooth in the rear will not make a big difference

2 on the rear, one on the front. although prob a bit overkill on the 990. def do 16T front.
