Thread: Ergo seat?

Finally the weather co-operated and I've been out on the Duke I picked up 2 weeks back ...

Seat is a bit of a plank, innit? Yikes ...

So, the ergo seats - they full o' gel, no? What does the +20, +40 actually mean - more padding or I'm going to be sitting even higher?

More seat height - ergo seat vs standard, hmmmm bit like comparing sitting on steel or concrete, though they both soften up (a little) I've had the hi ergo for 3 years now & I can think of things I could have better spent my $$$$'s on.

Is the +40mm actually 40mm more padding or just the base plate is 40mm higher?

I think my seat is softening up - or my bum is toughing up - as yesterday's ride was much more pleasant ...!
