On my 2013 690 Duke, one of my front forks has an odd widening of its diameter near the middle.
* At the top the circumference is about 160 mm.
* In the middle, the diameter is about 171 mm.

Today I managed to break my 2013 690 Duke thottle tube while twisting on a new heated grip. Luckily it's 99% on. The grip is holding the tube together now (you can hear the cracked plastic underneath the grip) and I don't need to twist it on any futher.

I personally think it looks gorgeous, brings back the funky underfloor exhaust of the Dukes of yester-year, and apparently it sounds it bit better too.
Maybe some one can help me here. As you know the Duke has 3 engine mappings. I cannot find anywhere what effect these actually have in technical or subjective terms. All I can get out of the press is a recommendation to stick with 'standard'. I can give a notion of what standard and 'sport?'...
