Very good condition 275mm travel fork and shock - bought as spares to keep the bike on the road whilst I had my original suspension serviced and in case of emergency as these are very difficult to come by now. Both ready to bolt on and use.

I mentioned in my 950 thread that the rear shock is like a hard tail. Hardly any sag, little if any compression with my 80kg of weight, barely any movement even over kerbs.
The the two 990s at the dealers today were similar.
It's probably never been serviced so will need a thorough strip down...
I'd not heard of Matris shock absorbers until I looked on ebay for a new shock for my 690 Duke. Matris sell rebuildable ones.
Are they reputable? I just don't know anything about them or had even heard of them.
So my rear suspension has felt a bit odd for months. A bit saggy when throttling out of corners, crap with pillions.
Then during this winter I noticed a step change in how sh1t3 it felt to ride.

got a 2006 300 exc and looking at getting it lowered. Owned it for a year now and have always had the problem of not finding ground in an emergency situation…..or standing still on uneven ground usually ending in me falling over and looking like a complete tit :P
