hi

I'm going to be buying a KTM 2015 1190 aventure where the speedo clear plastic is slightly damaged.
can it be taken off and changed or is it a whole instrument panel?

also if I have to replace it, can a new one just be plugged in or does it need calibration?

I think you need to change the whole thing...they're not cheap...friend had to fit a new one after a drop where the screen cracked. Ring a dealer and confirm etc

Looks like you can buy what they call the frame (part no. 30) including the lens, for £89.
Silly money for what it is, but better than £638 for the whole instrument panel.
