A couple of magazines have ran articles about this and shown pre production photos of the original Gen3 bike in blue, orange and white but apparently there is no way of knowing what the colours or specs will be
My guess is all the tech packs unlocked, Akrapovic system and the Powerparts catalog thrown at it. Oh and a sticker kit Doubt it will make any more power or be any lighter. Just bling.

Its probably the track prepared bike that was at the press launch with upgraded suspension, full Akrapovic ( it would have to be road legal and not disable indicators), tech pack included, slightly different colour scheme. They would put an extra R on the badge and charge another 5k.
For as long as I can remember "special editions" of motorcycles are generally a new paint scheme and the accessory catalog thrown at it. Unless a model is being homologated for racing its general aesthetics only. The Akra system might come in the box to be installed by the customer. Pretty sure I remember Ducati doing that with Termignoni exhausts. Also, 20k. Wow.
I purchased my GT on PCP back in 2017. Due to lack of funds, that l could get my hands on.
Luckily l didn't do to bad and the final payment it will be less than the bike is worth.
I don't think l would go down that route again to purchase a vehicle
SDR is KTM's race bike, currently they don't do one with full fairing and clip-ons, so it's a bit of a one off as all the other 'super-nakeds' are sports bikes with the fairings removed.
Look at the prices of the limited edition Pangales/Streetfighters/HP4/Tuono V4X/Superleggera etc.. makes the KTM look cheap.
Everything I’ve seen suggests lots of PP stuff, akra slip on, upgraded suspension, lighter wheels, paint scheme. Nothing you can’t buy anyways.
basically weight saving but no addition power, I think they’re worried about the V4S streetfighter but I don’t see why. All I’ve seen is the streetfighter is track focused and all the power is top end, not what you need on a naked road bike.
I’m guessing the RR will have pro WP suspension, PP triple clamps, maybe light weight wheels, a bit of carbon and not a lot else?
