Hey all

I've had a 2013 450EXC for a year now - done about 100hrs green laning, not raced it.

Over all that time I've only noticed the cooling fan come on maybe twice, in the summer. I had it out today and the fan has started to come on 2 seconds after the engine starts. It runs as long as the engine is on. Kill the engine and the fan stops.

Now I know it was a nice day today but there's no way the fan should be running that soon after the engine starts. I've checked the coolant and it's 10mm above the fins as per the manual.

Anyone got any ideas? I don't imagine it will do much harm other than use more battery and be a little annoying...

Cheers

The terminals at the radiator switch could be bent and touching. Take the boot off it and check that 1st is my tuppence worth.
