Hi I brought some titanium hub carrier nuts to bring the 1290r but when I tried to loosen the first one it just span round. The cush rubbers has a large Allen key hole at the back but you can't get the Allen key in .Now I have the work shop manual .You have to take the back wheel off and then loosen the hub nut and then you can get the Allen key on the back of the cush rubber to stop it spinning when you loosen the M 10 nut .Then you can put your titanium ones on tightening to 45 nm and using thread lock 243 hooray cheers Marcus

Hi mate

You don’t need to take the wheel off.
Just take off the 41mm sprocket carrier nut then take off the sprocket carrier.
12mm hex one side and socket on the other.

I just done some in the last couple of months.
