This is a commonly asked question. Use the search facility
That's a bit of a harsh reply to a newbie even if the advice is possibly right.

Welcome Luis, even if I can't help with your question.
I wouldn't be sure what to look up TBH so I suspect someone will be able to give you a quick easy answer without the trauma of doing a search.

PM Bagman. He did the tail conversion to his LC4 SM....it looks really nice! Here's a link to his build: Bagman's refreshed LC4 thread linky There is before and after pictures in his signature.

Hope that helps mate. Welcome to the forum. I'll have a cold bottle of lager with you, if you're buying? :D

I will be doing this conversion over the next couple of weekends but the way im doing it is to cut and weld the subframe which is pre 05 and mod it too fit the newer plastics i will take pictures all the way along and post them up in a thread and if it goes well i have a second subframe coming that im also going to modify and sell on.

Hi Luis, there are many ways to skin this cat....
The first and possibly the easiest and cheapest way Is Keith's....you are modding your existing subframe as possibly buying just new plastics....
Another way was my way....where you have to source a new...

subframe
undertray complete with light
seat
plastics and airbox covers

then you have to re-route a few of your electrics which is simple enough.
These parts are a bit difficult to come by second hand (ask Blacksmith ;) )

The choice my friend is yours :scooter:

Welcome aboard and I'll have a stongbow please

past 40000klm on mine, and all is well (touch wood)lol. Dropped the oil a couple of weeks ago, and didn't find anything nasty in it. If/when it reaches 50K I will likely pull it down for thorough inspection.

Upcoming maintaintance wise, my battery died and the carby needs a good clean. But otherwise, she just keeps serving up the smiles.

last winter cam bearings and piston rings
