Producing an effective rear mudguard seems beyond the wit of motorcycle designers these days.
Triumph is the worst offender. They claim to be designed in the UK ...do the designers ever look out of the window and notice it's raining?
I had a business meeting a few years ago where one other guy turned up on a motorcycle: a Street Triple. It was raining. The bike had filled up his waterproof rucksack with water, and ruined all his documents, and the water had run down the back of his collar and soaked him to the skin!
And what's all this with the rear light that looks like someone stole a lorry mudguard and bolted it to the swinging arm...it just looks stupid!
Perhaps I'm getting old?
