hiya lads,my gear levers too high,i have the single bolt out that holds the lever on but the fooker wont shift.it looks like theres loctite holdind it on.ktm want £25 to adjust.i can get a drift on it from under the engine but i,m a little worried that in giving it a pisser will damage some engine internals.any ideas much appreciated

Isnt there a split in the lever casting allowing you to prise it open slightly?
I cant remember off hand as i adjusted the postion of mine ages ago sorry.

I've adjusted mine a few times (for different boots I use) and used the spanner extention bar in the tool kit to get behind the gear change where it meets the shaft and kinda wiggle/lever it a bit. Gets it off eventually - just be gentle and persevere!
