does anyone know of any reason why an sx200 front pipe onto an exc200?? I always thought that it would make a bit of a fruity addition but just spotted an ebay ad for one that definitely says "will not fit on EXC" I've looked and looked at them both and can't figure out why... any ideas?

anyone? cant see a difference in the barrel or the head, the tank/shrouds shouldnt get in the way and the frame mounts are in the same place...

any help greatly appreciated folks!

I'm pretty sure it would fit no problem, I've a 125sx pipe that I sometimes use on my 125exc, as you say frame mounts are same as is flange on the barrel

would it be something to do with suspension travel and the wheel hitting the pipe?
or just the fact the expansion chamber is tighter on an exc for getting over obstacles and not fouling the pipe
