I had them last year but never needed, so don't know and price went up a bit...went with Autoaid this time, very cheap personal cover, but not tested..I reckon a good sign of good cover is you never need it..:)

Got RAC through bank account,they got a slating on another post but we've not had any problems,includes European cover which we used to relay our car home when the power steering failed ,recovery to the ferry and then picked up in the U.K.and recovered to a garage and recovered my bike once .Theyre any vehicle you're in not a specific vehicle

Auto aid get a 5 star rating, if you go through money saving expert you can get 15 months cover for the price of 12, special offer till the end of March, so personal cover for 15 months around £43, no euro cover though.

Autoaid is good value. Have called them out several times over the years.
It's an insurance backed cover so when you need recovery they send their most local agent out and you usually pay up front and then send autoaid the invoice for a refund.
