As per title - anyone used them for winter riding?

Thanks.

Thanks all - l have used these mechanix impact for years and really rate them (nowhere as clunky as they look) but fancied something a bit warmer for winter.

I will give the 100% a try for a comparison.

JFI, the impact glove is well worth a try - light feel, comfortable, some protection and no palm bunching - just not the warmest (but much better than mx gloves) .......

I've found the best option for warmth is to double layer. I wear a pair of KTM Racetwch waterproof and under those I wear a pair of inner gloves for cold weather. Similar to these

I’ve used the brisckers for a few years now for green lanes, I find hem good on the technical, ok on the road until it’s freezing, they are ok in light rain, but not in heavy rain. No protection on them !
I use a heavy glove now on the road then change to the 100%, on the trails!!

got given a set of AS, gloves for Xmas but not tested them yet!!

I use the M-Pact gloves after Ship's recommendation, they're excellent but I wouldn't be without grip heaters for cold days anymore. I just use the cheap sub £10 ones . On a RFS I just ran them on the AC lighting circuit glued/taped to the bars/throttle under the grips , just enough heat to keep the cold off & no chance of flattening the battery. On later bikes with lock-on grips I cut the grip off glue & tape the foil heater elements to the plastic throttle & the clutch side then glue a throttle side grip of choice on both sides. Wire up to the headlight DC feed so no chance of leaving them on & flattening the battery. It's a bit of a faff but well worth it. Make sure you get heaters with 2 heat settings some are only on/off & are too hot . Plenty on ebay just put in grip heaters.

Dirbike gloves in general have little protection other than agains some abrasion. Nothing compared to on road gloves with plastic knuckles etc. I have had a pair of Briskers for years and I use them during cold weather riding. I'm happy with mine. Fit my hands perfectly, durability has been great and they are warm enough. When it gets below -10C or for faster (ice track riding with top speeds above 100kph) then I put on handlebar muffs or whatever they are called.

P.s. this is a great bit of kit. Everyone should have one of these in their toolbox
