My 2008 RC8 got 55000km's.

On inspecting valve clearance & fitting new tensioners, found out that one of the camshafts was completly weared out. Was a matter of time it would have broken in pieces. In other LC8 fora there's been some mention 'bout pitted camshafts and not to worry that much. Seems there are some upgrades meanwhile with the LC8 engines going from steel camshafts to stainless steel.
Replacing only the ruined camshaft, this alone comes @ almost 300€
So replacing the other 3 would be a small unexpected financial setback.

Any experience here with the old timers that are still running their 2008-2009 non R RC8's?
