Have not been on bike in over 1 year and am hopeful that once this lockdown lifts to get back out riding.

Toying with changing flywheel to tame bike down a bit for the first couple of months and not sure what flywheel would do this - EXC? And what engine size would work.

Slow old guy just wanting to have fun.

You might be able to make things calmer with power valve and needle tweaks. Losing the quick pick up might be a bad thing but once your into the power you want it predictable.

Find out what needles in it.

I’m thinking is has the older PV set up with the 30mm cap on the right case? It’s not the later coloured spring controlled one?

Yes old style.

Before getting back out it will get a top end rebuild, part of that will be to strip and clean power valve (that will be another post👍)

The old power valve is easy to strip and sort. Cooksey on KTM talk has a great little video on it. Here is the installation video.

Have you found out what jets and needle you have in the carb yet? And what clip the needle is in?

230 main - jeepers, bike will be so flat and stutter as if it's not making any power from 2/3 throttle.
