I have previously been with just bikes @ £130 inc all extras fitted on bike, fully comp.
their renewal was near £300.

MEC came in the cheapest at £103 TPT.
Can't see the point of comp insurance on an enduro bike.

 

I was shocked with my renewal was about the same. They did say that they would price match any other quote but I'm quite a stubborn git and they should have given me there best quote at the time to keep my custom.
I might go Tpft as you said there's not much point in full comp.

I got insured with right choice off of go compare. Right bunch of wankers avoid them! Deffo won't use them again.

 

Try Bemoto insurance, they are very helpful and were hood fof me.

Hastings are decent

 

Just got policy via Bikesure, all 4 bikes fully comp with legal and helmet/gear cover for only £347!
Only thing i had to do was chain the DT and KTM with Thatcham or Sold secure locks.
Which they all are and more so! lots more so.

Really really good people, helpful and informed. They specialise in Trials and Enduro bike insurance, with links to ISDE riders etc.

They give cover that doesn't get invalidated by using the bike for competition, which a lot of policies would screw you for. They also insure for travel to and from the race, covered in the van etc etc, all holes in regular bike policies.

I’m with MSM. Seem perfectly good to me.

 

Devitt for me this year. £98 with no restrictions other than it being stored at my home address between 9pm and 7am.

 

Check the small print, just had a quite from Hastings direct, admittedly for my roadbike, but the generic exclusions had the words excluding any off-road event, checked putting my EXC detail in same thing. I use MSM to give me TPFT plus public liability insurance I think and covers bikes in transit too, worth checking it out for piece of mind.
