Headster did a step by step for the shock.

Do a search cos I am pretty sure I did the forks.

Undo top clamp bolts
Loosen fork cap.
Remove bars
Undo cap fully
Pull spring down, slip the spanner on the nut on the cartridge.
Hold spanner and unscrew cap from cartridge
Pull cap off.
Pull spring out, watch for drips.
Pop new spring in.
Screw cap onto cartridge, making sure its fully home.
Put cap back on.
Tighten clamp
Bars back

You need a tool for the fork cap and a 22mm open ended spanner less than 8mm thick.

Only issue ive got is that the top cap - theres the pre load adjuster whihc obv i dont wind all the way off, so the top cap has 4 holes in it, i take it i need to use some tool to fit into these holes to undo counter clockwise?
