For anybody looking for a mobile phone mount - I fitted a Quadlock on my SDR...

Ummed and argghed about a phone mount.

Went for a Quadlock mount as it looks very slick compared to some of the monstrosities out there. Stupidly expensive,, but it does seem to be of very good quality.

I bought the kit + the knuckle and the whole lot fits very neatly and securely.

I don't think I have seen anything quite as neat an install, plus it is easy to clip on and off. I might try and move it upwards slightly, I bought some of the spacers so it should be possible to move it about a bit.

The only downside so far is the case blocks the wireless qi charging which I use, so that is a bit of a pain.

Be careful. The SDR has been known to kill later phones cameras with its vibes.

I have the Quadlock with the vibration damper and the wireless power charging kit. I have it plugged into the USB up in the side of the dash.
Whole thing works awesomely.

Same here, but on a 1290 Super Adventure. It’s a great setup.

So I added the vibration damper and it has spaced the phone upwards, I tried to jiggle it so the phone was level with the face of the dash (for some reason I am just happier with everything at the same level - just seems more zen to me..) but my Puig screen limits the space available. If you don't have a screen I think you would be able to arrange it more 'sympathetically'

The damper does not rub on the screen

Holds the phone up and tilted slightly forward

Still happy

Phone has not self-destructed after a couple of rides and its fits well with a neat cable I found on amazon. Anything bigger than a Pixel 5 might be challenge, but all in all - not cheap, but fits and works well...
